Zavidovo Recreation Complex is 65!

The Zavidovo Recreation Complex is celebrating its 65th anniversary on August 16.

Zavidovo history started in 1957, when the Council of Ministers of the USSR issued an Ordinance to organize a sports fishing and hunting base for diplomatic corps.
During the first stage of the project, four three-room cabins accommodating 15-20 guests appeared. In the next two decades, the number of summer cottages reached 20, a hotel with a restaurant was built.

Today, the Complex is still a favorite place for the diplomatic community and is popular among Russians. Zavidovo keeps growing, developing its infrastructure and expanding the range of services provided. The paramount principle of each employee here is true Russian hospitality and personalized approach to each client. With a wide array of services offered and a big area, each guest can find a thing to do to their liking.

The Recreation Complex is located on a protected natural area of 56 hectares. There are almost 100 cottages and townhouses standing amid shady trees. They all have parking spaces for private vehicles and barbecue areas. The hotel complex is also a comfortable option to stay at. The building is situated in close proximity to the beach and has the Volga restaurant, a 24-hour lobby bar, swimming pool, and SPA.

There are European and Russian cuisine restaurants offering buffet and a la carte menus, as well as plenty of entertainment to fit every taste: a yacht club, a sports center, a shooting range, a fishing pond, #RedCat Children’s Club. 

Zavidovo Sports Center offers bicycles, pedal go karts, electrocars, boats, jet skis for rent. The area is equipped with modern exercise machines, tennis and billiard tables; there are also futsal, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts. Lovers of more relaxing holidays can have a boat trip, stroll along the forest edges, fish on the pond and the big water.

Young guests will not be bored in the Recreation Complex. The Children's Club offers various master classes, from dough modeling to animal and plant care. Pedal go kart races, discos and sports games are organized under the supervision of experienced teachers and animators.
The SPA complex with a tropical pool will help relax your mind and body. Zavidovo’s bath house on the river bank is a good way to forget your worries, cure maladies and recharge your batteries.

The Complex has a great infrastructure for organizing meetings, seminars, business meetings, conferences, something that corporate clients appreciate greatly. The venues include conference halls with all equipment you might need, cozy negotiation rooms and banquet halls.
Professional community rates Zavidovo very high. Zavidovo team win regional and national professional excellence competitions almost every year. In 2018, the Zavidovo Recreation Complex was the winner in the National Tourist Brand Rating (Country Hotel category).
